The Tower

Ortega y Gasset Projects, Brooklyn, New York
September 12–November 1, 2026
Curated by Adam Liam Rose

The Tower explores the tower as a symbol of ambition, spiritual longing, power, and transformation. Drawing on the Tower of Babel, the Tarot’s image of upheaval, and the watchful architecture of the panopticon, the exhibition asks how height and perspective shape authority—and how these structures can also suggest revelation, intimacy, and collective resilience.

Spanning painting, sculpture, drawing, textiles, photography, video, and performance, the exhibition moves between physical architecture and psychological space. Kevin Cobb is represented by East Side Dispatch #2 and #4, whose spherical perspectives bring questions of seeing and spatial orientation into this shared inquiry.
