Kathedra
Product animation, simulation & film
Making a robotic upholstery process visible through technical animation and live-action filmmaking.
My role
I storyboarded and animated two product demonstrations, modeled and rigged robotic pincers, and simulated the behavior of foam and fabric. I also storyboarded, directed, filmed and edited a 1 minute 40 second live-action technology film.
Product demonstrations
The animations show fabric manipulation and tensile behavior, translating the mechanics of the product into a clear visual sequence.
CGI Demonstration Animation for Accelerator Competition
Live-action film
The film brings the robotic product into its physical setting, connecting the technical process with the intended mood and message.
