-Learned how to build a strong brand and present a pitch before a large group.

-Created and edited project assets in a time sensitive environment.

-Created relevant, personally directed projects.

-Worked in Cinema 4d, After Effects, and Adobe Suite to create beautiful images and animations for internal and external branding.

Full Time CGI Product Modeler and Designer at Salt Studios, New York, NY, Oct 2016 - Jan 2017

-Worked in an office environment, participating in an ordered workflow to meet client demands effectively.

-Used Maya and ZBrush to model and render realistic 3D models of tangible make-up and skin care products.

-Used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and convert product assets for use in the image rendering process.

-Used Nuke and Photoshop to finely edit the colors of rendered assets with multiple color variants.

-Used Nuke and After Effects to combine all layers of rendered assets into product turnarounds.

-Used After-Effects and Premiere to create company and client based animations, slideshows and films.

2013 - 2014, Teaching Assistant, NYSSSA(New York State Summer School of the Arts) Fredonia, NY

-NYSSSA is a pre-college program that hosts around 90 students per summer on the SUNY Fredonia campus. Students take 6 hours of art courses per day, with an additional 3 hours of open studio time.

-Served as a teaching assistant for a figure drawing, mixed media and installation class. Facilitated constructive critiques.

-Developed and performed lectures and demonstrations on drawing techniques, art history and aesthetics.

Harlem Arts Festival Nominee and Participant

-Nominated by the Harlem Arts Festival jury to display my artwork among several other talented New York-Based artists.

US National Fulbright Nomination, 2015

-Nominated by the US to Research Dutch 17th century oil painting in the Netherlands to interpret works in the painting genre through the language of contemporary digital media.

-Established connection to faculty of Leiden University in Leiden, Netherlands.

Morris Lewis ‘32 Scholarship, Maryland Institute College of Art, 2015

-Was awarded the Morris Lewis ‘32, $20,000 Scholarship from MICA for excellence in painting as a rising senior. Donate by long term MICA supporter, Marcella Brenner.

MICA Returning Student’s Art Honor Scholarship, Maryland Institute College of Art, 2014

-Was one of 3 returning sophomores who was awarded a scholarship for excellent portfolio submission.

National Gold Medal in Painting, NAACP ACT-SO, 2012

-Won a gold medal in a national, tiered fine-arts competition among hundreds of other artists of color.
